Danielle Keene, CNM
Danielle Keene, CNM, joined our practice in October of 2014 from Mercy Hospital in Baltimore where she had been providing midwifery care since 2005 with Metropolitan OB/GYN. Danielle was previously a labor and delivery nurse at University of Maryland Hospital from 2000 to 2005. She holds a Master’s of Science in Midwifery from Shenandoah University in Winchester VA. Danielle lives with her family in Baltimore.
MORGAN WALKER, CNM
Morgan Walker, CNM, was born and raised in Baltimore County, Maryland. She obtained her Bachelors degree in nursing from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, and her Masters in midwifery from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, in 2013. She is certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board and the Maryland Board of Nursing. She joined the Saint Agnes Medical Group Women's Group in November, 2018. Her clinical interests include education and empowerment of women, and holistic care to include the mental as well as physical health needs of her patients. In her free time, Morgan enjoys good food, good books, and good films. She is an 'occasional' runner and yogi.
Beverly Maldonado, CNM
Get to know Beverly Maldonado, MSN, CNM
Beverly Maldonado, MSN, CNM, is a board-certified nurse midwife with the Women’s OB/GYN Group at Ascension Saint Agnes. Beverly completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marymount University and obtained her Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery and Women’s Health from Frontier Nursing University. She is also a member of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Clinical interests and care goals Beverly’s clinical interests include providing direct managed care during the prenatal, antenatal, inpatient and follow-up stages for women, reproductive health services, and counseling in prevention of teen pregnancy, transmission of STIs, and sexual violence-related injuries. Beverly is also an advocate for the transgender community she understands the challenges and medical barriers the LBGTQ+community faces and dedicates her time to conducting research and developing strategies for the best course of care.

Pierrette Latimore, CNM
Get to know Pierrette Latimore, MSN, CNM Pierrette Latimore, MSN, CNM is a Certified Nurse Midwife with Ascension Saint Agnes OB/GYN Columbia. Pierrette has extensive experience working as a full scope midwife with women and their families in the Baltimore Area. Although Pierrette originally planned on attending medical school after college, she realized midwifery was her calling. She has been practicing in both the office and hospital setting for the past 9 years and her passion for this role continues to grow. Clinical interests and care goals As a mom of three young sons, Pierrette has an interest in teaching teenagers about their bodies, health, and wellness along with preventing teenage pregnancy. She also has an interest in increasing postpartum support and empowering women to advocate for themselves.

What Do Certified Nurse Midwives Do?
Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) provide pregnancy and birth care for low-risk women, utilizing a holistic approach that supports the natural processes of pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum care. All of our CNMs have a Master's degree, are certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board and are licensed by the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
At The Women’s OB/GYN Group, our CNMs provide a comprehensive array of women’s services including:
- Management of common pregnancy issues and concerns; Our CNMs also work with closely with our physicians when advanced medical care is required.
- Prescribing of medications, including epidural anesthesia during labor.
- Labor management, including pain medication during labor and alternatives to pain medication for women who prefer a drug-free delivery. Our CNMs are committed to supporting you and your partner in achieving your desired birth plan.
- Labor and delivery – Our CNMs provide birthing support during active labor and will deliver your baby. Our CNMs attend deliveries at Saint Agnes Hospital.
- Well-women care throughout the lifespan, including postpartum care, annual exams, family planning, management of common gynecologic problems and menopause care.
